Travel Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive Bangkok
Upon arrival in Bangkok you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight meet your tour leader for welcome drinks and a tour briefing.
Two nights BEL-AIRE PRINCESS
Day 2 – Bangkok
Absorb the energy of Bangkok as you explore the Grand Palace and everyday life on Koh Kret, an island in the Chao Phraya River. Cool down with some divine handmade coconut ice cream!
Day 3 – Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Today head towards the River Kwai area, home to precious rainforest and one of Thailand’s great rivers, the Kwai Noi. After seeing war-time cemeteries and taking the ‘Death Railway’ train, travel by long tail boat to arrive at our remarkable floating hotel, nestled by a forest and a unique experience for the whole family.

Day 4 – Ayuthaya and Overnight Train
Travel east and discover the ruins of Ayuthaya, once the centre of a powerful and far-reaching empire. Here, let the children have fun at the museum. In the evening you will set out for the cultural capital of the north, on an overnight train adventure.
One night OVERNIGHT TRAIN
Day 5 – Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is home to more than a hundred monasteries, great shopping, and wonderful restaurants. You can get your bearings with a trip to hill-top Doi Suthep Temple, before exploring the famous night bazaar in the evening.

Day 6 – Chiang Mai
This morning your family will enjoy a fun samlor ride to some colorful local markets. Visit the Mae Sa elephant camp in the afternoon to learn more about these wonderful creatures.
Day 7 – Lisu Lodge
Depart early this morning for a journey into the hill beyond Chiang Mai. First stop will be at the Himapaan Reforestation Project to learn about the local people’s involvement in this program that is aimed at protecting and restoring the forest and its entire eco-system. Continue to Lisu Lodge. Here, the children will learn a little about tribal minorities, from their stay at the lodge and a visit to an Akha village.

Day 8 – Lisu Lodge to Golden Triangle
This morning set off on an elephant trek or enjoy gentle bamboo rafting before heading to Thailand’s far North. Stop in the town of Sop Ruak, the centre of the Golden Triangle and the meeting point of the Thai, Lao and Myanmar borders before checking into your accommodation.
Two nights IMPERIAL GOLDEN TRIANGLE
Day 9 – Golden Triangle
Visit the fascinating Hall of Opium, a modern and interactive museum that the kids will love. Later, discover the mystique of the Mekong River and admire the beautiful scenery of this area, then visit the town of Mae Sai.
Day 10 – Golden Triangle to Chiang Mai
This morning visit the beautiful Buddha images museum before returning to Chiang Mai for the evening.

Day 11 – Depart Chiang Mai
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
